Bio

Dr. Charissa Oosthuysen is the PRACTICAL Platform Scientific Officer and Grant Specialist in the Division of Respirology, part of the University Health Network. Charissa holds a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Witwatersrand. As the platform's Scientific Officer, Charissa coordinates the processes for reviewing and endorsing new trials on the PRACTICAL platform, and works closely with the investigators to build strong funding applications.
