Bio

Dr. Brent Winston's research focus primarily involves using metabolomics to study human diseases in Critical Care. He continues to study metabolomics in sepsis, lung injury (ARDS) and head injury (traumatic brain injury, TBI). In order to do this research his laboratory has created a tissue bank of ICU related disease processes. He is primarily conducting translational research on clinically relevant Critical Care and Pulmonary disease processes.
